Special Needs/Summit School

Junior Auxiliary members work with school liaisons, counselors, and agencies to identify and help under-privileged families. We provide for such things as clothing, food, medical needs, etc. with an emphasis on the children's needs. In the past, Junior Auxiliary has participated in canned good food drives and coat drives, and purchasing back to school supplies. Another facet of this project is designed to help motivate the Summit High School students to set goals and improve behavior throughout the month in order to participate in two merit rooms throughout the year.

We partner with the Jackson House, Ouachita Children's Center, The Hot Springs HIV/AIDS Clinic, Reach  Out and Read, all eight school distrtcits within Garland County, and any other agency that may be in need of our support.
